With over 26 years of experience in a successful private practice group, Dr. McConnaughey is excited to dedicate full time to his concierge practice model in order to provide highly personalized, relationship-based care. This model allows him to dedicate more time to each patient, offering an unhurried, comfortable environment that supports deeper conversations, thorough evaluations, and proactive wellness planning.

Dr. McConaughey provides comprehensive medical care for both men and women, ranging from preventive health and chronic disease management to acute care needs. He maintains active hospital privileges at both Hoag Hospital and Orange Coast Memorial, ensuring continuity of care should hospitalization or additional medical services be needed.

Dr. McConnaughey worked with Edinger Medical Group for 26 years, and during that time they received many awards for best primary care group in Orange County. Serving a wide variety of patients in urgent care, outpatient, and a hospital setting has provided a vast breadth of experience evaluating and managing illness, injuries, and complex medical needs, where he places an emphasis on prevention and improved quality of life. Stemming from his childhood achievement of Eagle Scout, he personally continues to enjoy fitness and outdoor activities including scuba, trekking, hiking, and camping. His favorite pastime is spending time with his family.
